Submerge yourself in the mystical core of Tim Harrier's “Shamans & Spirit Guides” at Eisele Gallery, Cincinnati. This exhibition is a visionary expedition that intertwines the physical with the mystical, realized through Harrier's unique blend of photography and arcane wisdom. As a maestro of both the visual and the spiritual, Harrier opens doorways to hidden realms, laying bare the shamanic web that intricately connects humanity to its animal brethren, featuring figures such as Shamans, Shamanka, Kachina, Owls, Ravens, and Medicine Women. Each piece in this exhibition is far more than an image; it is a voyage into the essence of the cosmos, where every photograph, enriched with over 30 layers of elaborate detail, evolves into a haven for profound spiritual exchange. Harrier's adeptness with both traditional and digital media highlights the harmonious interplay of connection and esteem that links humans with their animal mentors. His artistry, a captivating blend of the mystical, dares the observer to look deeper, beyond the surface, to explore the essence of our existence and the silent promises that link our spirits to the world and beyond. We invite you to journey with us on this unparalleled exploration.

Tim Harrier, a distinguished artist renowned for his work in painting, printmaking, and photography, hails from Los Angeles, CA, and now splits his time between Santa Fe, NM, and a studio in Cincinnati, Ohio. His art journey began in Los Angeles and later honing his skills at prestigious institutions including Indiana University, Purdue University, Tamarind, and Herron School of Art. Harrier's creative expressions have graced numerous esteemed galleries and institutions, from the F-Space Gallery in Santa Ana and the Institute for Dance and Experimental Art (I.D.E.A.) in Santa Monica, to the Richard Kuhlenschmidt Gallery, Eisele Gallery of Fine Art, The Gerald Peters Gallery in Dallas, Vladem Contemporary at the New Mexico Museum of Art, and Newfields (formerly the Indiana Museum of Art). His art has garnered the attention and collection of notable entities such as JP Morgan Chase Indianapolis, PNC Bank, The Joule Hotel Dallas, HALL Arts Hotel Dallas, and the ARIA Resort & Casino, amongst others. This widespread recognition and collection by prestigious institutions and private collectors alike underscore the significant impact and value of Harrier's work, marking a path of notable achievements and recognitions throughout his career.

In conjunction with the Opening Reception the Eisele Gallery will host Kenn Day, a full-time professional Shaman since 1989, practicing in Cincinnati, Ohio. Having coined the term Post-Tribal Shamanism to describe his work, Kenn has published two well-received books. He has taught in cities around the US as well as the UK and Germany. Kenn's journey, documented in works such as "Dance of Stones: A Shamanic Road Trip" and "Post-Tribal Shamanism: A New Look at the Old Ways," mirrors the exploratory essence of Harrier’s artistic photography series “Shamans & Spirit Guides”. Both artist and shaman are cartographers of the unseen, seekers of the threads that weave the physical and spiritual into a coherent whole. Day’s presence at the exhibit, then, is more than just a commentary; it is a live extension of the art itself, a voice that speaks from the very essence of the shamanic path to illuminate the profound connections between the images and the viewer’s inner landscape.

Day, is slated to grace the Exhibition, offering attendees a rare opportunity to explore the layers of meaning embedded in Harrier’s work through the lens of shamanic practice. This collaboration between Harrier and Day is not merely additive but transformative, promising to elevate the exhibit from a collection of images to a profound exploration of the spiritual dialogues that animate our world.
