Biography

Randy Myers is a professional Glass Blower. Myers took his first glass class in February of 1995, and was working full-time as a glass blower by the fall of the same year. He has since worked as a professional glass blower for various glass establishments and artists in the Seattle area, as well as pursued his own creative glass designs.

Myers has studied at Pilchuck Glass School, with Richard Royal, and at Pratt Fine Arts Center with Preston Singletary, Boyd Sugiki, Alison Chism, and Luca Ratazzi.

Myers continues to grow as an artist with his ever evolving designs encompassing blown glass vessels with artistic lids and stoppers. His forms are intended to express dignity and grace and he hopes to uplift the viewer through his use of form, light, and color.
