Then & Now A joint show of Cincinnati paintings by David and Line' Tutwiler
Forty original paintings by David and Line' Tutwiler that illustrate Cincinnati's history and notable architecture, "Then & Now".
David began painting at the young age of fourteen, with a scholarship to the Art Institute of Chicago. He went on to study and graduate from American Academy of Fine Art with an Associates in Technology Degree with a Major in Fine Art. He has participated in many National Exhibitions including the Mystic Seaport International, Oil Painters of America and the Great American Artists exhibitions, Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition to being one of America's foremost painters of Steam Era Railroad subjects, his portfolio also includes significant works depicting traditional American landscapes and coastal subjects of the sea coasts and Great Lakes. David recently completed commissioned work for George Lucas of Lucas Film and his Skywalker Ranch Collection.
Line' has devoted her life to the love of family, faith and her interpretation of beauty that surrounds and inspires her, especially the beautiful effects of light and shadow found in America's neighborhoods, landscapes and street scenes. She studied at the American Academy of Art, Chicago, IL. Her career has spanned over 30 years and she has won both National and State awards: including The National Historic Bronze Medal in the "Arts for the Parks", Jackson WY.
